POWER -VS- OTHER PROGRAMS

5 REASONS TO CHOOSE POWER

#1 - FINANCIAL SIDE DEALS

POWER
POWER offers every family the same financial pricing and opportunities to save money.   There is no special treatment for returning members, family members, or friends...

OTHER PROGRAMS
Other programs hide pricing from the general public, offer "certain families" a special deal, and conceal these "specials".

#2 - ADDITIONAL TRAVEL COSTS

POWER
POWER looks at the big picture in terms of costs.   We not only look at our internal costs such as membership training fees, competition fees, and uniform, but we also take into account the cost for the family to travel to these competitions.   If possible we look to find events that DO NOT have a stay to play requirement.

OTHER PROGRAMS
Other programs often travel to several events that require 2 - 4 nights hotel stays, air transportation, and increased coaches travel fees, not because its best for their families, but because its best for their ego..  Some programs advertise themselves as a low monthly fee to get athletes in the door, and in-turn adds upwards of $1,500 - $2,000 in travel costs on their families which were not advertised.

#3 - SKILL REQUIREMENTS

POWER
POWER requires minimum skill requirements for our PREP, LIMITED TRAVEL, and TRAVEL teams.  These requirements are in place to prevent injuries to athletes that would be in over their head if on a higher level team, and to increase scoring opportunities at competitions.

OTHER PROGRAMS
Other programs typically play a numbers game.  They want as many cheerleaders on a team as possible for profit reasons, regardless of skill level.   When a family tells these programs they will go elsewhere if their athlete is not on a specific level, these programs cave to the families request and allow that athlete to be on a specific level / type of team just to keep them in their program.

#4 - ATHLETE POSITIONS

POWER
POWER gives every athlete the same opportunity to earn a specific skill position (base, back-spot, or flyer).   These positions are earned based on the athletes ability compared to other athletes on the team, an athletes size in relation to other members on the team, and the mental abilities of the athlete.  At no time will POWER promise a family a specific skill position just to get them in our program.

OTHER PROGRAMS
Other programs promise athletes specific skill positions on a team, just to keep them in their program.  Although this may seem great for the individual athlete, it often leads to difficulties for the teams success.

#5 - ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

POWER
POWER gives EVERY athlete the same number of miss points per year.  It is left up to the families to use these points when and where they wish for missing practices & summer events.  Every point above that set number given is a $20 per point miss fee.

OTHER PROGRAMS
Other programs make side deals with specific athletes to miss additional practices or events because they are over scheduled in other activities.   This only hurts the teams ability to learn chemistry, timing, and technique.   Often this leads to teams not being as successful as they may have been had everyone attended practice.

NOT ALL PROGRAMS OPERATE AS OUR EXAMPLE OF OTHER PROGRAMS...
  • SOME PROGRAMS RUN GREAT BUSINESSES AND LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE.
    • WE APPLAUD THOSE PROGRAMS AND SUPPORT THEM.
  • HOWEVER, THERE ARE MANY PROGRAMS OUT THERE THAT DO RUN THEIR PROGRAM AS DEPICTED...
