TUMBLING CLASS LEVELS

 

INTRO LEVEL

INTRO TUMBLING is geared for the beginner.  These classes work on learning body awareness, hand / eye coordination, strength, flexibility, and self confidence.   We have broken this level into (2) different age groups to assist with the varying learning abilities.  PRE TUMBLING is for athletes 5 - 7 YEARS while TUMBLING 1A is for athletes 7 - 18 YEARS

BEGINNING LEVELS

BEGINNING TUMBLING LEVEL CLASSES focus on basic front and back tumbling.  These levels also introduce athletes to learn how to connect different skills together.  These levels serve as the building blocks to higher level skill sets.   Learning proper technique on these skills is paramount to long term successful tumbling development.

INTERMEDIATE LEVELS

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES teach from the standing back handspring through the running round-off back handspring tuck.   Atheltes in the intermediate class levels learn specialty combination tumbling, where they connect multiple skills they have learned into one connected skill.   Athletes at this level should be taking classes at a minimum twice a week to see results.  Additional classes are encouraged provided families can fit it into their schedule.

ADVANCED LEVELS

ADVANCED TUMLBING LEVEL CLASSES work standing and running tumbling that involve multiple airborne body shapes.   These levels also introduce bounding skills to the athlete.  Mulitple combination skills to airborne body shapes are learned in these levels.  To have success at the advance level, athletes should keep their body in optimal shape, as well as attend classes multiple times a week.
